The Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games was one of the most highly-anticipated events in the city in recent years. 

It was also the largest Commonwealth Games ever held in the history of the competition and Mahirs were on hand to fuel some of the 5000+ athletes with their authentic culinary delights. 

Serving the principal athletes village at the University of Birmingham, ‘Team’ Mahirs’ supplied over 100k portions of freshly prepared authentic cuisine over a 2-week period and were duly awarded a gold medal themselves, as the best independent food service supplier to the games!
