Birthday At The Museum

A ‘BOSTIN’ BIRTHDAY AT THE MUSEUM!

Mahirs Experience was asked to cater for a private party for one of the Midlands favourite sons, and what better Midlands venue to celebrate your 60th birthday party than amongst the distinctive atmosphere showcasing the birth of the Industrial Revolution!

Guests started their evening at the Black Country Living Museum with magnificent champagne and fabulous canapés upon entering the museum. They then ventured along a lantern lit path to the centre of this open-air museum to one of its most recognisable buildings, The Workers Institute building.

With it being the one day in 365 days of a year that you can rightly claim is yours, our clients brief was simple. He wanted to transport back in time and seamlessly blend his favourite authentic Indian cuisine over a time span of 300 years of the Midlands history!

A good old mixed vibe of a traditional ‘British Street Party’ combined with a seated dinner in theme of a ‘Soldiers Barrack Mess Hall’, bought about a large amount of versatility ensuring that Team Mahirs defeated the cooking limitations of this venue and served up a revolution of their own!
